What is the process flow for bauxite grinding? Bauxite is primarily composed of aluminum oxide, a hydrated form of the mineral. Due to its complex composition, processing is necessary to enhance its overall utilization rate. Processed bauxite powder can be applied in key industries such as aerospace, construction, and automotive. So, what is the processing flow for bauxite grinding? Let’s take a look.
Process Flow for Bauxite Powder Grinding
After being crushed by a jaw crusher, the bauxite is sent to a storage silo. From there, it is fed uniformly and continuously into a bauxite grinding mill for grinding. The ground powder is then blown by a blower into a classifier for separation. The separated bauxite is transported via a pipeline to a powder collector and discharged through the outlet, at which point the bauxite becomes the finished product.

What Grinding Equipment Is Used for Bauxite?
Our company’s MTW European grinding mill can process bauxite into powder. This equipment features minimal vibration and low noise levels. The system operates under negative pressure with a fully sealed design, preventing dust leakage and ensuring a clean environment that meets environmental protection requirements. It utilizes an integrated bevel gear drive system, resulting in minimal energy loss and high efficiency. The grinding rollers and ring are designed with a rational structure, featuring replaceable curved-edge scrapers that enhance grinding efficiency and reduce operating costs; the speed of the classifier is controlled by a variable frequency drive, ensuring more precise speed regulation and superior material classification results.
